Alcohol delivery through Postmates in available in certain markets. When a Postmate delivers alcohol, the customer is required to provide a valid ID (state, military, or passport) to verify they are 21 or older and able to legally purchase alcohol.
A Postmate may not be able to complete an alcohol delivery if the customer:
- Is not present
- Does not have a valid photo ID
- Is under 21
- Appears intoxicated
If the alcohol cannot be delivered, the customer is charged a return fee of $15.

- California
- Florida
- Idaho
- Illinois
- Minnesota
- New York
- Pennsylvania
- Texas
- Virginia
