Partners can now request that signature be required to complete return deliveries. Returns are automatically generated whenever an order cannot be delivered and either of the following are true:
- Order is undeliverable and undeliverable action is set to return
- Delivery has an ID requirement that cannot be met (recipient underaged, ID expired/not valid, appears intoxicated, or not present)
Signature on returns is an account level setting which means all returns will require signature.
To enable the signature on return setting, please contact your Account Manager or submit a support request.
You can view return deliveries in the dashboard via the original delivery details and/or by searching using the delivery token. You can retrieve signature proof of return from the dashboard or consume it via webhook. The details can be found here: How to export proof of delivery
