Before launching your locations, we recommend requesting a viability check from our team. A viability check is a scan of your store’s address against our active Fleet coverage historical data to ensure order fulfillment and on-time completion.
This check will help set expectations and secure a positive customer experience. Our team is happy to assist in checking viability for your address prior to launch. In fact, we recommend it!
The viability model that we use is primarily based on supply and demand:
- Supply: We look at how many active Postmates we have seen in the location historically.
- Demand: We look at how many orders were completed in your merchant locations historically.

Viability Score Matrix
The viability report returned by our team will have a score between 1 and 4. This score is a good proxy of how well a particular location is likely to perform both in terms of completion and on-time rates.
Note: We are continuing to grow and expand. If any of your merchants are given the OOZ (out-of-zone) score, we cannot service them currently, but that may change in the future.
